Alejandra Warden

For more than four decades, Alejandra Warden has been devoted to creating spaces where the essential interconnectedness of all life can be experienced and where spirituality is grounded in everyday living. Guided by her deep understanding that reconnecting with a consciousness of oneness nourishes both individuals and a world longing for meaning, her work invites personal and collective transformation rooted in lived spiritual experience.

Drawing from the wisdom of the Sacred Feminine and the mystical path of Sufism, and enriched by her Catholic upbringing, Alejandra offers a natural and integrative interspiritual approach that bridges traditions while honoring their depth. Her teachings weave contemplation, embodiment, and insight into a living spiritual practice.

An educator, spiritual teacher, international lecturer, and author, Alejandra specializes in meditative and contemplative practices, the interpretation of dreams, and the integration of spiritual experiences. Alongside her individual counseling work, she leads workshops and retreats on dream studies, the Divine Feminine, Sacred Marriage, the Soul of the World, and nature spirituality. She also mentors students in the spiritual practices of the Sufi Mystical Path of Love. Alejandra serves as an interspiritual mentor and trainer for the Spiritual Paths Institute and is the Director of Charis Circles of Interspiritual Practice for the Charis Foundation for New Monasticism & Interspirituality.

Born in Argentina, Alejandra felt a call to spirituality from a young age. Her work reflects a rich synthesis of formal training in education and personal development, lifelong study on a mystical path, and several pivotal, consciousness-shifting spiritual experiences. Having studied both traditional and non-traditional pedagogical systems in Argentina and the United States, she founded and directed two ecologically oriented alternative schools. There, she trained teachers in diverse educational methodologies, with particular emphasis on the philosophies of Maria Montessori and Rudolf Steiner.

Alejandra’s formation was shaped by numerous teachers. In Argentina, she was mentored in education by Montessorian educator and music therapist Frances Wolf. After relocating to the United States at the age of thirty-six with her husband and twin children, she studied with Sufi Murshida Asha Greer of the Ruhaniat International Order, as well as with Jungian psychologist and Sufi teacher Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee of the Sufi Naqshbandi Order. For several years, she served as Vaughan-Lee’s representative in Latin America before stepping fully into sharing her own teachings and voice.

Remembrance: A Vision of the Sacred Feminine and the Renewal of the World and El Llamado de Mi Corazon are two of Alejandra’s published works. She lives with her family in a rural area near Seattle, Washington.
